My name is Lauren Hope. I am a motivational speaker, blogger, advocate, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, and storyteller. When I started writing about my mental health journey on my blog Good Girl Chronicles I was afraid. That was until I heard about This is My Brave, a nonprofit storytelling show that features people with lived experience of mental illness. Reading and watching the stories of people in the This is My Brave show inspired me to keep sharing my story. My little blog entries blossomed into a speaking career and breathed life into a new purpose.

I had the pleasure of being in the Arlington 2018 This is My Brave show, and now I am producing the first Hampton Roads show ever. It is incredibly humbling, and exciting.
